About Us

We are a Canadian company located in Lumby, British Columbia (In the Pacific Time Zone)
We have been buying, selling and recycling previously owned, AB PLC parts since early 2001.

Borrowman Electric Ltd. is not an authorized distributor, reseller or representative of the products featured on our website.
All product names, trademarks, brands and logos that may appear on this site are the property of their respective owners.
The depiction, description or sale of products featuring these names, trademarks, brands and logos is for identification purposes only.
And is not intended to indicate any affiliation with, or authorization by, any rights holder.

We carry PLC5 - SLC500 and ControlLogix products in stock.
For all products that we sell, we offer a full 18 month warranty.
We have limited access to factory sealed parts.
All items that we sell are previously owned.

Items currently out of stock, may take up to 20 days for us to source, receive, QC test and ship to you.
We attempt to keep our current stock levels posted and accurate on our website.
This is not always possible, but our website will give you a sense of what we have in hand.

Special Orders - Returns - Restocking

We will gladly try to source any item that you need for your industry!
Our standard stock items are listed in our webpages.
Items not listed as standard stock, on our website would be considered as "Special Order."

Depending on what the special order item is, a downpayment may be required to secure delivery of the part from our sources.
Special order items are normally "Non-Returnable".
If a customer wants to return a special order item, and we can return it to our source, a restocking fee of 60%, plus shipping costs will apply.
If we cannot return the item to our original source, then the item will be deemed - non-returnable and the full price will apply.

Standard Stock Returns - Restocking


For items that are standard stock, ordered and cancelled before shipping from our warehouse - no fees will apply.
For items that are standard stock and returned within 30 days, a 10% restocking fee will apply.
For items that are standard stock and returned after 30 days, a 55% restocking fee will apply.

Shipping Information

We ship by various carriers as specified by you the customer.
Inside Canada, we normally use Canada Post, Purolator, UPS and Loomis.
For international/ Overseas shipments, we use Canada Post, UPS and DHL.

FedEx has proven to be unreliable for pickup and delivery from our location.

We will be glad to provide you with a quote for your shipments before the package leaves our warehouse.
International customers need a receiving broker set up in advance, to receive international shipments.

Please understand that overnight, or 2 day international delivery by any carrier from our location is a myth.
Contact us for additonal details about shipping.

In order to get the fastest delivery by any local or international carrier,
we need to know BEFORE NOON, PST on the day you wish us to ship.

Payment - Billing and overdue account Information

We do not process credit cards, but use Paypal as our credit card processor.
A service charge of 3.5% will added to the invoice, to cover Paypal fees.

Canada - EFT, Interac Etransfer or wire transfer are the preferred methods of payment.
USA - Wire transfer or Paypal are the only acceptable forms of payment.
We do not accept cheques (Ancient Papyrus Documents) from outside of Canada.

A purchase order from ALL purchasers is required for our records for taxation purposes.
Once you are setup in our system we will extend appropriate credit terms for your company.

Canadian Taxes

GST/HST will be collected and remitted as per Canadian Tax Laws.
We are registered to collect BC PST.
To be exempt from BC PST, we must have a copy of your BC PST exemption certificate.
Provincial sales taxes outside of BC are the responsibility of the purchaser to remit as per your province's tax laws.

International Sales
International customers do not pay Canadian taxes.
You are required to remit your customs, duties and taxes as per your country's taxation laws.
Wire Transfer is the only acceptable method of payment from outside of Canada.

Overdue accounts - Finance charges

Finance charge of 2% per month (28.8% per annum) on all over due accounts after 30 days.
Any and all costs and fees (legal /collection /court) to recover monies owed to Borrowman Electric Ltd.
for overdue accounts will be added to the overdue balance of any account owed.
Borrowman Electric Ltd. reserves the right to retain ownership of all parts sold, until fully paid.
